An elegant, oversized globe with a matte off-white surface and finely printed, detailed coastlines in deep charcoal, set on a brushed gold axis and base atop a smooth walnut sideboard. Surrounding it are neatly stacked hardcover destination guides with minimalist covers, a slim silver laptop half-closed, and a single slender glass vase holding one white bloom. Soft golden hour light enters from the left, creating gentle reflections on the metal and a warm gradient across the globe’s surface. Captured in photographic realism at eye level, using the rule of thirds to emphasize the globe while keeping the workspace in soft focus. The atmosphere is sophisticated, contemplative, and globally minded, ideal for a travel community homepage hero image.

Our Services

A beautifully worn, leather-bound travel journal opened to a world map sketch, resting on a brushed brass cafe table beside a minimalist, matte-black passport holder and a sleek silver pen. Around them are carefully arranged vintage boarding passes, a folded metro map, and a small compass with a polished metal casing. Late afternoon natural light streams through a large window, casting refined, soft shadows and subtle highlights on the textured leather and metal surfaces. Photographic realism with a clean, modern aesthetic, shot from a slightly elevated angle with shallow depth of field, keeping the journal in sharp focus and the background of blurred, sophisticated urban architecture. The mood is aspirational, organized, and quietly luxurious, evoking intentional, curated travel planning.

We curate authentic itineraries, destination guides, and safety tips from locals, helping you travel smarter, lighter, and more connected with communities around the world.

A refined flat lay of a curated carry-on setup arranged on a muted sand-colored linen backdrop: a hard-shell, matte graphite suitcase half-zipped to reveal neatly rolled neutral-toned clothing cubes, a slim titanium water bottle, noise-canceling over-ear headphones in a dark slate finish, and a compact travel adapter with clean geometric lines. A minimalist travel guidebook titled “Out of Office” lies nearby with a subtle embossed cover. Soft, diffused overcast light from above eliminates harsh shadows, creating gentle gradients on each object. Photographic realism with a calm, editorial look, shot from a perfectly overhead, bird’s-eye perspective with precise spacing between items. The mood is organized, serene, and premium, emphasizing intelligent travel hacks and elevated packing strategies.

Total Game Changer

May 5, 2026

I used the customizable travel checklist for my recent overseas trip and I can honestly say I’ve never felt this organized before! Everything I needed was laid out so clearly, it took all the stress out of packing and planning. I loved that the items were actually useful (not just filler), and every product I purchased ended up being something I truly used. The best part is how easy it is to customize for different trips, I’ll definitely be using this for every future getaway!

A Journey 8 Years in the Making

April 26, 2026

I feel like I won the travel lottery when I joined Anne for her very first Out of Office Travel trip to Budapest eight years ago! Since then, I’ve watched this brand grow, but one thing has never changed, Anne’s absolute brilliance as a planner.

Every single trip she curates is a completely unique experience. She doesn’t just book a vacation, she crafts a story. Whether it’s finding a hidden local haunt that isn’t on any map or navigating complex logistics so smoothly you don’t even notice them, Anne is simply the best in the business.

If you are looking for a vacation that is guaranteed to be seamless, authentic, and genuinely amazing, look no further. Eight years later, I’m still just as excited for the next departure as I was for that first flight to Hungary.

Response from Out of Office Travel

Katherine,

It’s hard to believe it’s been eight years since that first adventure in Budapest! Thank you so much for the kind words and for being such an integral part of this journey from day one. Seeing the world alongside travelers like you is exactly why I started this brand. I can’t wait to see where our next unique destination takes us. Here’s to many more stamps in the passport!

Amazing Company

April 23, 2026

I don’t typically write reviews, but I just returned from a trip to Vietnam with Out of Office

Travel and wanted to share my experience. This is actually my fourth trip with this company,

and each one has surpassed expectations. Everything was seamless, from the packing

suggestions, to the arrival pickup with someone waiting for us in Hanoi (I traveled with my

sister) with our name on a tablet (which can be scary if you’re in unfamiliar territory-especially

arriving late at night), to the trip itself. Each day was a new fun adventure with lots to do, yet

there was enough down time to explore independently in the evenings when there was no set

itinerary. There were two other travelers with us, which made for a nice small group. We all

got along famously, and all four of us are planning to go on another trip together to Ecuador

with Out of Office Travel. It feels like you are on a curated, private tour. We spent a lot of time

with “locals” which provided cultural immersion that was unique. We were not always doing

touristy things. One of our drivers took us to his mother-in-law’s fruit stand. Another driver

took us to a restaurant where we were obviously the only tourists. It was all so authentic. All of

our guides and drivers spoke excellent English, and we used Google Translate when

communicating with locals. We got lots of “inside information” about where to eat meals that

were not provided and even where to have our hair washed (which is a must do in Vietnam!).

There was a terrific mix of typical tourist destinations and off the beaten path locations that we

never would have found on our own. There were so many highlights that I can’t name them all

(water puppet show, starfish beach, rice paper making, night markets, fresh pressed sugar cane

juice, various museums, etc……. Lodging was good. Food was fantastic. Guide was incredible. I

can’t wait for the next adventure!

Response from Out of Office Travel

Gail,

It is such a pleasure to welcome you back from your fourth journey with us! Knowing that Vietnam surpassed your expectations means a lot, especially as it is one of my personal favorite destinations in the world.

I am so glad you enjoyed the “hair wash” experience and the fruit stand visit. Those authentic, unscripted moments with locals are exactly what we strive for when we curate these itineraries. We believe travel should be a balance of iconic sights and the hidden gems you won’t find in a standard guidebook.

It is also wonderful to hear that your small group connected so well. There is no higher compliment than travelers planning their next adventure to Ecuador together before the current trip is even over.

Thank you for trusting Out of Office Travel to handle the logistics so you and your sister could focus on the adventure. I look forward to coordinating your upcoming trip to Ecuador!

Trip of a Lifetime!

April 22, 2026

Out of Office Travel delivered an experience that truly lived up to the phrase “trip of a lifetime.” From the very beginning, everything felt seamless, intentional, and thoughtfully curated. The attention to detail was evident in every aspect, from the accommodations and excursions to the pacing of the itinerary, which struck the perfect balance between adventure and relaxation.

What stood out the most was how stress-free the entire journey felt. Every transfer, activity, and recommendation was handled with professionalism and care, allowing me to fully immerse myself in the experience without worrying about logistics. It’s clear that Out of Office Travel doesn’t just plan trips…they craft meaningful, memorable journeys!

Response from Out of Office Travel

Ricky and Ruth,

Thank you for sharing such a thoughtful review of your time in East Africa. Hearing that your safari lived up to the “trip of a lifetime” is exactly why Out of Office Travel exists.

Kenya and Tanzania hold a unique magic, but the logistics can be daunting. My goal is always to handle those complexities behind the scenes so you can focus entirely on the experience. I’m thrilled the balance of adventure and relaxation was exactly what you needed!

We look forward to helping you craft your next meaningful journey, wherever the map takes you next.
